Zamalek is close to clinching the Egyptian league title by beating Smouha

On Tuesday evening  , May 5, Al-Ahly Club defeated its counterpart Enbi with a clean sheet, as part of the competitions of the Egyptian Premier League competition for the 2025-26 season.

Cairo International Stadium, the stronghold of Al-Mared Al-Ahmar, hosted the match between Al-Ahly and Enbi within the competitions of the sixth round, from the stage of determining the champion of the Egyptian Premier League in the current season.

Hussein Al-Shahat scored Al-Ahly's first goal in the seventh minute, and Ahmed Mustafa Zizou added the second goal for the hosts in the 21st minute of the penalty mark.

With this result, Al-Ahly Club is in third place in the Egyptian Premier League table with 50 points.

Zamalek vs Smouha match

In another match, Zamalek achieved a valuable victory at the expense of its counterpart Smouha, with a goal without reply, in the match that was held between them at Borg El Arab Stadium.

Zamalek scored Uday Dabbagla's goal in the 62nd minute, after a cross from Bezera met it with an elaborate header that found the net.

With this result, Zamalek raised its score to 53 points, which continues to lead them at the top of the Egyptian Premier League and is close to winning the title, while Smouha's balance was frozen at 31 points in seventh place.

Pyramids and Ceramica Cleopatra

The positive draw decided the match between Pyramids and Ceramica Cleopatra by a score of (1-1), in the match that was hosted at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium.

Ceramica Cleopatra scored Mohammad Reda Bobo's goal, while Pyramids' goal was scored by Nasser Maher in the 36th minute.

With this result, Pyramids raised its score to 51 points in the second place of the Egyptian Premier League table, specifically the "Coronation" group in the league, while Ceramica came in fourth place with 44 points.
