According to Reuters, the festival's program includes a screening of a film outside the official competition that deals with the last hours of the life of French teacher Samuel Patty, who was killed in 2020 in an attack that shook France, where French actor Antoine Reynolds is played, amid the expected presence of his sister Mikael Patty, who co-wrote the screenplay, along with the cast and director Vincent Garenck on the red carpet.
The official competition opens with the screening of two major films, the first titled "Nagi Diary" by Japanese director Koji Fukada, and the second "La vie d'une femme" by director Charlene Bourgeois-Take, at the beginning of a program that is widely anticipated by followers and critics as the screenings begin.

In the coming days, the festival is preparing to welcome new works by a number of world's most prominent directors, including Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, who returns with a new film featuring a group of stars, in a much-awaited participation in the official competition.
