
To assess its readiness. MSF inspects Ras al-Ain hospital in Hasakeh

A delegation from Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) visited Ras al-Ain National Hospital in Ras al-Ain, northwest of al-Hasakah, today.
The Director of Health in the Governorate, Dr. Khalid Al-Khaled, stated that the visit came with the aim of assessing the readiness of the hospital and reviewing the reality of the medical services provided therein.
In a statement to Syrian News, he explained that the visit included in addition to holding meetings with the medical and administrative staff working at the hospital, in order to listen to them explain its medical and administrative reality, the difficulties facing working in it, and the necessary needs to activate and return it to work and serve the population in terms of health.
Al-Khaled said that the Directorate of Health received Ras Al Ain National Hospital from the Turkish Red Crescent Organization, which was supervising its operation during the past period. The reality of the medical services provided in it was reviewed, the readiness of medical cadres and equipment was assessed, and the necessary needs were identified to ensure the continuation of the provision of health services to the people in an optimal manner.
