
The Syrian Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the attacks on the residence of the President of the Kurdistan Region

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic has condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks on the residence of the President of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, which were carried out by outlaw groups.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Sunday that these illegal acts of aggression are considered a threat to security and stability in Iraq and the region, and are contrary to the principles of international law.
The ministry affirmed Syria's firm position in support of Iraq's stability and territorial integrity, and its rejection of all forms of armed interference in its internal affairs.
Security sources in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq said that a drone attack targeted the home of the president of the region.
