The Super Cup is a historic achievement for Barcelona at the expense of Real Madrid.

Barcelona secured a 3-2 victory over arch-rivals Real Madrid to claim their 16th Spanish Super Cup title at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.

This marks Barcelona's second consecutive Super Cup triumph, having also defeated Real Madrid 5-2 in last year's final.

This victory also represents the first time Barcelona has ever defeated Real Madrid in three consecutive finals.

Barcelona took the lead through Rafinha in the 36th minute, but Real Madrid equalized through Vinicius Junior in first-half stoppage time (45+2).

Robert Lewandowski then put Barcelona ahead in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time (45+4), only for Gonzalo Garcia to level the score again for Real Madrid in the sixth minute of first-half stoppage time (45+6).

Rafinha sealed the victory for Barcelona with a goal in the 73rd minute.
