The "scorched-earth" policy. 170 Israeli raids  hit southern Lebanon

South Lebanon and the Western Bekaa are suffering from an unprecedented wave of systematic destruction, as a result of extensive and qualitative Israeli aggression that has changed the rules of engagement and crossed the red lines on the ground and environmentally.

Through the "scorched-earth" strategy, violent concussion raids and razing of territory, Israel is trying to impose a new equation on the ground by expanding the scope of the so-called security belt, amid major question marks about the cost of this military expansion on the occupation, and the possibility that the battle will turn into a long-term war of attrition against Hezbollah's ability to confront despite the harsh humanitarian conditions experienced by the displaced.

Environmental disaster in the Bekaa and mobile massacres in the south

On the ground, Israeli warplanes launched more than 170 violent airstrikes targeting the southern countries and the western Bekaa, the most prominent of which was a series of concussion raids that targeted the strategic Qaraoun Lake, in a scene that carries catastrophic repercussions that threaten the environment, water and social infrastructure in the region.

In recent hours,  31 people, including children and women, have been killed and 40 injured in the attacks;

The Lebanese Ministry of Health documented a massacre in the town of Borj al-Shamali near Tyre that killed at least 14 martyrs, while a dawn raid today on Deir Ames (Tyre district) led to two martyrs and one wounded, and other raids caused the destruction of two houses in the town of Bariq (Nabatieh district).

In an unprecedented escalation, the spokesman of the occupation army, Avichai Adrei, issued an urgent warning that the city of Nabatieh must be completely evacuated and head north of the Zahrani River, followed by heavy shelling in the vicinity of Nabih Berri Governmental Hospital, which caused severe material damage to the hospital's vital wards.

Ground incursion and immediate Israeli mobilization

On the ground battle front, an Israeli military force penetrated the eastern town of Zutar, north of the Litani River, amid fierce clashes that put the advancing forces in defensive ambushes. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the deepening of ground operations with large forces to impose control and fortify the "security fence" to protect towns in the north.

Coinciding with this expansion, Netanyahu held a phone call with US President Donald Trump to discuss the expansion of fighting in Lebanon and the course of indirect talks between Washington and Tehran.

The official Israeli broadcaster confirmed that the army issued immediate and sudden orders to soldiers who were discharged in recent days to urgently join reserve service, in a definitive indication of readiness to expand military operations on the northern front and turn them into an extended offensive.

Hezbollah strikes armored vehicles and sweeping "dr" penetration

On the other hand, Hezbollah's operations room conducted counterattacks described as the most violent, carrying out 32 rocket and artillery attacks on the concentrations of vehicles and soldiers in the towns of Zutar al-Sharqiyah, Rashaf, Adshit al-Qusayr, Shama, and Barnet barracks.

The party showed striking scenes of targeting the headquarters of the 401st Armored Brigade of the Israeli army in the town of Dabal in southern Lebanon, by a squadron of "Ababil" purge drones, which hit its targets with precision.

The Israeli army admitted that it had lost the trace of an attack drone launched towards the Bar'am area in the Upper Galilee, while the Hebrew Channel 12 revealed that more than 15 booby-trapped drones belonging to the party exploded inside the occupied territories, most of which were concentrated in military points and sensitive bases.

Citing settlers in the north, the channel acknowledged that the current ground military operations are "limited and have not succeeded in changing the security situation or staving off the threat of attacks."

Turning to Europe

As part of the Israeli security establishment's search for technological solutions and urgent innovations to reduce the impact of invading drones, Hebrew media revealed that Tel Aviv is turning to international suppliers in European countries to buy large quantities of metal and protective nets urgently.

The army has already reportedly deployed more than 250,000 square meters of protective nets in the field and on the frontlines and settlements adjacent to the Lebanese border, and has already begun to conclude deals to buy an additional 280,000 square meters from Europe to be deployed over fixed vehicles and positions, at a time when the security services in Tel Aviv acknowledge that these solutions remain localized and temporary, and there is still no radical or final solution capable of neutralizing the deadly weapon of swooping drones.
