On Sunday, July 19, 3 artillery shells fired by the Israeli occupation army landed in the vicinity of the village of Al-Hamidiyah in the central countryside of Quneitra.
Local sources reported that explosions were heard in the central countryside of Quneitra as a result of the Israeli artillery fired at the "Hamidiya" base towards the agricultural lands in the vicinity of the village.
The sources stated that the Israeli targeting did not result in any cases of injury or casualties among the residents.
In parallel with the artillery shelling, an Israeli patrol raided the village of Al-Samadaniyah Al-Sharqiyah and searched the residents on the main road connecting the Khan Arnabeh area and the southern villages, without recording any arrests.
Mechanized patrols incursed into Quneitra countryside
On Saturday, an Israeli occupation force, consisting of six military vehicles, infiltrated towards the Kodna Dam in the central countryside of Quneitra, in conjunction with the flight of drones in the airspace of the area, according to the state-run SANA news agency.
In a related context, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft and helicopters flew at a low altitude over several areas in Quneitra governorate, before heading east towards the area at the confluence of the countryside of Daraa, Quneitra and the Damascus countryside, formerly known as the "Triangle of Death", to reach the vicinity of the Kiswah area in the southern countryside of Damascus.
The Israeli reconnaissance plane flew at the same time as the sounds of explosions echoing inside the occupied Syrian Golan, without providing further details about the nature of the explosions.
Residents confront Israeli patrol
In the context of Israeli movements in the area, an Israeli patrol carried out an incursion on Saturday, July 18, towards the area of the Ruwaihina Dam in the central countryside of Quneitra, in conjunction with the presence of a number of residents at the site, before the residents confronted them by throwing stones, which prompted the patrol to withdraw from the area without recording any other incidents, according to the Quneitra Information Directorate.
An Israeli drone dropped two stun grenades on the Abdeen-Maariyah road in the Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa, according to local sources, without causing any human or material damage, despite the presence of a number of cars on the road at the moment of the targeting.
The sources explained that the operation was carried out after the road was re-closed by the neighborhood's youths, against the background of an Israeli patrol consisting of three vehicles and a tracked bulldozer opening the road after they incurred into the area on Friday, July 17.
Israeli forces had infiltrated the village of Ma'ariyya, amid heavy gunfire to terrorize the residents, but no injuries were reported.
