The Israeli occupation forces launch widespread arrests in areas in the  West Bank

At dawn on Tuesday, the Israeli army carried out a series of incursions in various areas in the West Bank, during which dozens of Palestinians were arrested.

Local sources said that the Israeli forces stormed Qalandia camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, and arrested 9 Palestinians, after raiding their homes, searching them and tampering with their contents , adding that the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters towards the homes of citizens, without reporting any injuries.

In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, the army stormed al-Arroub camp and the towns of Ithna and Bani Na'im, raiding dozens of houses and tampering with their contents, before withdrawing from them.

In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians from the city of Nablus, after raiding and searching their homes, and also raided the city of Tubas and the town of Tayasir, and carried out raids and searches on a number of houses.

In eastern Tulkarm, Israeli forces launched a large-scale campaign of raids and arrests of dozens of Palestinians, according to local sources to Anadolu Agency, without specifying their number, and in the central West Bank, Israeli forces arrested a child and a boy during their raid into the village of Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah.

These incursions come as part of continuous operations carried out by the Israeli army in various areas of the West Bank, interspersed with arrests and raids on homes.

Israel, through the army and settlers, has escalated its attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank since the start of the genocide in Gaza in October 2023, resulting in the death of more than 1,148 Palestinians, the injury of about 11,750, and the arrest of about 22,000.

Amnesty International warns of law criminalizing solidarity with Palestine in France

Amnesty International has reiteratedits warning of the fallout from a French bill aimed at "punishing anti-Zionism", adding that it would make solidarity with Palestine a crime.

In a statement on  Monday, the organization criticized the so-called Yadan Law, which could criminalize solidarity with the Palestinians.

French  MP Caroline Yadan plans to introduce the bill in the National Assembly on April 16, warning that the bill could open the door to very serious deviations, and in November 2024, MP Yadan has already submitted  a bill that provides for the punishment of denying the existence of the State of Israel or likening it to the Nazi regime.

The bill, titled "Combating New Forms of Anti-Semitism," will be debated by parliament from April 16, while  supporters of the Palestinian cause and lawmakers on the left oppose the bill because it could be used to punish anti-Zionism and criticize Israel under the guise of fighting anti-Semitism.

French reports indicate that the number of signatures on a petition published on the parliament's website against the bill  exceeded  500,000 signatures two  days before it was presented to the French National Assembly.

Spain: Israel is the only one that violates international law

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Israeli occupation, saying that international law is being flagrantly violated by one country, Israel.

"No one should feel insulted, because of our respect for the world order and international law," he said in remarks during his visit to Beijing, adding: "We are threatened when we criticize governments that violate international law."

Since the genocide in Gaza, relations between the occupation and Spain have been witnessing a significant deterioration  , and many positions and statements have been issued in which Madrid attacked the occupation, and  a few days ago, Netanyahu expelled Spain from the coordination center for Gaza after the escalation of anti-occupation and crimes in the Gaza Strip.

A few days ago, a Spanish town  held traditional celebrations, which have been going on for decades, and witnesses satirical paragraphs in which puppets of figures are stuffed with firecrackers to detonate them and ridicule, and this year it blew up Netanyahu's effigie, which sparked a wave of anger by the occupation foreign ministry, which described what happened at the celebration as "direct incitement against Netanyahu", as a result of the policies of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro.
