The  Israeli occupation forces infiltrate "Brega" in the countryside of Quneitra and arrest two young men

In the early hours of Monday, an Israeli occupation force infiltrated several military vehicles in the village of "Old Brega" in the countryside of Quneitra.

SANA reported that the occupation forces  arrested two civilians under the age of eighteen, as they were taken to an unknown destination inside the occupied territories, amid ambiguity surrounding the reasons for this direct targeting in the area.

Dismemberment of the northern countryside

The escalation of the day was preceded by large-scale movements on Sunday, when a force consisting of three military vehicles infiltrated towards the village of "Al-Ajraf" in the northern countryside of the province.

The occupation forces  set up a temporary military checkpoint at the village junction.

At the same time, another occupying force set up a  similar checkpoint in the village of "Al-Samadaniyah Al-Sharqiyah", which led to obstructing the movement of civilians and searching passers-by, as part of the policy of imposing a new security reality outside the agreed lines of engagement.

Searches and raids in "Tarnja"

The northern countryside was not immune from these attacks over the weekend; last Saturday, several Israeli military vehicles infiltrated the area and set up a temporary checkpoint on the "Tarnja-Farms of Hope" road.

The Israeli soldiers reportedly conducted thorough searches of passers-by and verified their identities before later withdrawing, reflecting a frequent "provocative" approach aimed at intimidating the residents of border villages.

Last Friday also witnessed  a shift from transient incursions to attempts to establish a fixed position, as the occupation forces brought trucks loaded with three prefabricated rooms to the summit of "Eastern Tal al-Ahmar" in the southern countryside of Quneitra.

This was accompanied by the introduction of engineering equipment (trucks and cranes) and "Hummer" vehicles to start installing these rooms, in what Damascus considered a serious violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement and an attempt to change the topographical and military features of the area.

An Israeli occupation force consisting of 10 military vehicles recently infiltrated the village of "Rasm al-Halabi" in the southern countryside and set  up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village and restricted the movement of entry and exit, which proves that the incursions have now included all the northern and southern sectors of Quneitra governorate simultaneously.

Israel continues its aggression and violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement through its incursion into southern Syria, and attacks on civilians through raids, arrests and razing of territory.

Syria constantly demands the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from its territory, stressing that all the measures it takes in southern Syria are null and void and do not have any legal effect in accordance with international law, and calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter the occupation's practices and oblige it to withdraw completely from southern Syria.
