

The draw for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup finals placed Syria in Group C, along with Iran, Kyrgyzstan and China.
The draw ceremony took place today in the Saudi city of Diriyah, with the participation of 24 teams divided into six groups, to participate in the finals, which will start on January 7 at the stadiums of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is hosting the tournament for the first time in its history.
The draw of the teams resulted in the following six groups:
Group A: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Palestine.
Group II: Bahrain, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Jordan, Uzbekistan.
Group C: Iran, Syria, Kyrgyzstan, China.
Group D: Australia, Tajikistan, Iraq, Singapore.
Group F: South Korea, UAE, Vietnam, Lebanon or Yemen.
Group F: Japan, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia.
Our team qualified for the finals with a full score in the third round of qualifiers, after achieving six consecutive victories, knowing that the best result for our team in the history of its participation was reaching the round of 16 in the last edition of 2023.
