The Lebanese National News Agency announced on Saturday that an Israeli raid targeted the town of Al-Haniyeh in the district of Tyre, which resulted in the death of 5 Syrian citizens and 8 wounded.
The agency added that the Civil Defense members of the "Health Ambulance Association" recovered the bodies of the victims, and treated the injured, as they transferred them to Tyre hospitals.
The agency also pointed out that the Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the town of Beit Al-Sayyad and Al-Mansouri with other raids.
While a raid on the town of Deir al-Zahrani in the Nabatieh district resulted in the death toll, the number of which has not yet been determined, while the towns of Al-Qila and Al-Haniyeh were subjected to heavy Israeli shelling of 155 mm caliber, in addition to Sahli al-Qila and Ras al-Ain, south of Tyre.
Earlier today, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 5 people were killed and more than 27 others were injured as a result of the continuous Israeli raids on several Lebanese towns.
Israel has escalated its attacks on Lebanon since March 2, including daily raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut and large areas in the south and the Bekaa, in parallel with a ground incursion through several axes in southern Lebanon to separate areas south of the Litani River from its north, and to establish a "buffer zone."
