Sherihan opens a box of memories and reveals for the first time her low salary in Al-Fawzeer

Sherihan recalled some of her creative memories with Egyptian television, speaking with conscience and being moved by her exceptional experience in presenting Ramadan fawazeer, to which the Arab public's conscience has been associated for decades.
Modest pay
For the first time in her artistic history, Sherihan revealed the details of the financial salary she was receiving during that stage during a television interview with the "Man Maspero" program.
She pointed out that she used to earn only about 200 Egyptian pounds for one round, pointing out that her total salary for the full season amounted to about 12 thousand pounds, according to what her late mother was briefing her on from the contracts concluded at the time.
The big star described the ancient TV building "Maspero" as an integral part of her professional and humanitarian journey, stressing that it is the "first house" that witnessed her launch and the development of her talent.
Sherihan expressed her deep praise and gratitude to all those who participated in the creation of these legendary works, including directors, artists, technicians, workers and elements behind the camera, who contributed with their sincerity to the emergence of the fawazeer in a dazzling creative way that remained alive and passed through generations in the memory of the viewers.
She stressed that the moral gains and the historical mass gathering were far more important to her than the meager financial return, attributing the continuation of this success to the spirit of one team, strict discipline, and complete distancing from individualism and vanity.
Grinding Behind the Scenes and Production Pressures Behind the 90 Shows
The star of the show touched on the grinding scenes and difficult production conditions that accompanied the work at that time, noting that she was enduring tremendous nervous and physical pressure as a result of the simultaneous filming of the daily series with the filming of the episodes of the famous fantasy series "One Thousand and One Nights" at the same time.
She explained that one riddle required her to perform and shoot three complete and complex performances a day over the course of a month, which means the completion of about 90 dance and visual performances during one season, which is a record production and physical rate that reflects the amount of creative effort exerted behind the color screen.
In a separate context full of motherly feelings, Sherihan expressed her great pride and pride in her daughter, "Talia Al-Qur'an", after the latter showed a remarkable and promising artistic talent in the field of painting and plastic arts.
The artist shared a number of paintings and drawings executed by her daughter on social media platforms, stressing her great admiration for the paintings she presents that reflect the depth of her diligence and delicate artistic sense, and she did not hide her sincere desire to acquire one of these distinctive paintings to display in a special corner of her home.
Fawazeer and the Arab Ramadan Identity Making
Arab artistic sources said that these rare statements come to re-highlight the golden age of Egyptian state television, which has led the artistic and media leadership in the Middle East for many decades.
The artistic sources said that the "Showy Movies", which are headed by the duo of Nelly and Sherihan along with the late directors Fahmi Abdel Hamid and Yahya Alami, represent a historical document on the ability of soft power to formulate the Ramadan identity and unify the Arab taste from the ocean to the Gulf.
The announced behind-the-scenes pay and production prove that the renaissance of drama and performance in that era was not driven by huge financial funding or astronomical figures, but rather by a disciplined organizational structure and official institutions that embraced real talent, along with a real passion of artists to present a high-level aesthetic message, which made these works an artistic and visual reference that is difficult to replicate or compare in the modern digital age.
