Settlers renew the violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation police

Israeli violations of the sanctity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, as dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards from the direction of the Maghreb Gate this morning under heavy protection from the occupation police.
The Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the settlers' incursion came in the form of groups that carried out provocative tours that included performing Talmudic rituals and "epic prostration", in an attempt to impose a new reality inside the mosque.
The Jerusalem Governorate warned of an escalation led by the "Temple Organizations" in cooperation with elements in the occupation government, aimed at carrying out large-scale incursions on Friday, May 15, in a step described as dangerous to change the existing historical and legal situation and harm the religious status of the mosque.
Settler breaks into a school and threatens to close it
In a blatant violation of the educational process, a settler stormed the yard of the "Silat al-Dhahr" second primary school for boys, which belongs to the Qabatiya Education Directorate in Jenin.
Palestinian media reported that the settler did not only storm the school, but also made direct threats to close the school, in an aggressive behavior aimed at intimidating students.
In this context, the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education confirmed in a statement that this attack comes as part of a series of harassments targeting educational and university institutions to impede students' safe access to their study seats, calling on international institutions to intervene to stop these abuses, which violate international laws and conventions.
Continuous bleeding despite the "calm"
On the ground in Gaza, one citizen was killed and another was seriously wounded in a strike carried out by an Israeli drone near the Al-Jalaa roundabout.
The Ministry of Health announced that the total toll of the aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,615 dead and 172,468 injured.
Since the ceasefire began on December 11 , an additional 834 people have been killed, with thousands of victims trapped under the rubble as rescue crews were unable to reach them, the ministry said.
Destruction of Palestinian Structures and Homes

The occupation forces launched a large-scale demolition campaign targeting economic and residential facilities in occupied Jerusalem, including the town of Al-Ram, where the occupation forces stormed the town with heavy vehicles and demolished a number of commercial and industrial facilities, including a car wash, a vehicle showroom and a wood recycling facility, after completely closing the surrounding streets.
The demolition operations also included the area of Arab Al-Arara, and the occupation bulldozers demolished a house belonging to the citizen Muhammad Dhaifallah Arara'a near the Jabaa roundabout, north of Jerusalem, under the pretext of "not having a permit", as part of the systematic policy of displacement against the residents of Jerusalem.
Arrest Campaign
The Israeli occupation forces also escalated their arrest and raids in several governorates, including Ramallah, where the occupation forces arrested 3 boys from the town of Silwad, including the wounded boy Muhammad Yasser Rajeh Hammad, who was taken to arrest despite being wounded by several bullets and using crutches, as well as the boy Ezz al-Din Hamed and the boy Ammar Mualla from Al-Amari camp.
Palestinian media reported that a Palestinian citizen was arrested in the town of Hebron after raiding his house in the Kirisa area of the town of Dura, and in Nablus, the occupation forces arrested a young man, Walid Shtayyeh, from the village of Salem, and confiscated a drone from inside his house after searching it and vandalizing its contents.
Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale raid in the village of um Salmona, south of Bethlehem, that included a search of a large number of houses, including the house of the head of the village council. The invading forces subjected the residents to harsh field investigations, including entire families, in a move aimed at intimidating the citizens and spreading panic among them, without reporting any official arrests in the village so far.
'Orange Line' sparks European outrage
Politically, the European Union has declared its categorical rejection of Israel's creation of the so-called "Orange Line" in the Gaza Strip, a plan that raises the area of Israeli-controlled territory to more than 60 percent of the Strip.
The European Foreign Affairs Spokesperson stressed today that this step goes beyond the ceasefire agreements signed in October 2025, stressing the need to unify Gaza and the West Bank under the administration of the Palestinian Authority and open the crossings for the entry of aid urgently.
