
Secure the M4 international road advances.. Removal of 1500 mines in Al-Hasakah countryside

The engineering team of the Military Police in the city of Ras al-Ain, northwest of Al-Hasakah, has completed the dismantling of one of the largest minefields in the region after removing more than 1,500 landmines that were planted in the vicinity of the M4 international road, according to informed sources told "Syrian News".
The sources explained that the specialized teams combed the entire area and secured it, which was still a serious threat that was threatening the lives of civilians, farmers and vehicle drivers on this vital axis.
The 72nd Division of the Engineering Regiment began its operations in the countryside of Raqqa by clearing the vicinity of theM4 road and the village of Al-Jahabal from mines, and was able to dismantle more than 500 additional mines planted by the former regime and the SDF during the years of war.
These efforts are part of a broad plan to remove the remnants of the conflict and secure the main roads, allowing for the return of normal movement and promoting stability in the liberated areas.
