Saudi Arabia announces the completion of readiness for plans to delegate the pilgrims

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has completed its operational preparations for the plans for the delegation in the holy sites for the Hajj season of 1447 AH, within an integrated system with all concerned authorities, aiming to enhance the smooth movement of pilgrims and raise the efficiency of crowd management, in order to achieve their safety and facilitate their performance of rituals at various stages of the journey.

The readiness work included training more than 30,000 cadres of workers during the Hajj season on operating digital solutions and managing field operations, which enhances the efficiency of implementation and supports the speed of dealing with operational variables during the season in conjunction with the arrival of more than 1.5 million pilgrims from abroad.

The Ministry of Hajj indicated that the  implementation of field plans in the holy sites will start as  of tomorrow,  Monday, May 25, based on an integrated digital system aimed at managing human density and ensuring the safety of pilgrims.

Digital Competence

The ministry pointed out that more than 30,000 human cadres have been qualified to work on advanced digital systems and manage field operations with high efficiency, in addition to training more than 600 delegate members and 5,000 regimental commanders to carry out complex organizational tasks within the feelings.

She explained that the concerned authorities conducted accurate field simulation experiments to measure readiness and raise coordination levels, relying on smart operating tools and real-time data analysis systems to monitor the flow of pilgrims and reduce congestion in vital sites.

The official efforts in the holy sites were integrated to provide the highest levels of comfort for those heading to the holy sites, so that the rituals officially began on Monday (the eighth of Dhu al-Hijjah) and continued until the thirteenth of it, passing by standing in Arafa, staying overnight in Muzdalifah, and throwing the stones.

Official Tally

The Commander of the Passport Forces in Hajj, Major General Saleh Al-Murabba, announced the arrival of 1,518,153 pilgrims from outside the Kingdom through various ports so far, indicating that the field distribution recorded the entry of 1,457,514 pilgrims through air ports, 45,141 through land ports, and 6,497 through sea ports.

Major General Al-Murabba pointed out that  the number of arrivals from abroad this year exceeded that of last season, which recorded a total of 1,673,320 pilgrims (including 1,506,576 from abroad), reflecting the rising turnout despite the geopolitical complexities.

Organization and Sovereignty

Riyadh affirms its continued determination to organize the Hajj season and secure the crowds regardless of any regional challenges or conflicts in the region, focusing its full attention on the purely security and organizational aspects.

Authorities have drawn up alternative contingency plans to ensure that the movement of pilgrims is not affected by any external variables, amid high-level security coordination to protect the stability of the rituals and preserve the devotional spiritual character of the journey of a lifetime.
