Real Madrid defeat Manchester City to advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League

Real Madrid have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League after beating Manchester City in the second leg of the final at the Etihad Stadium in England.
Real entered the match with a comfortable lead in the first leg (3-0) to open the scoring in the 21st minute through Vinicius Junior from a penalty kick, following a mistake made by Bernardo Silva by intercepting the ball with his hand and then leaving the match sent off with a red card.
Erling Haaland took advantage of the lax Real Madrid defence to equalise after following up a cross from Jeremy Doku in the 40th minute.
In the 90th minute, Vinicius Jr. came back to snatch the winning goal, taking advantage of a neat cross from Aurelien Tchouameni.
With this victory, Real Madrid awaits the winner of the match between Bayern Munich of Germany and Atalanta of Italy, to meet them in the quarter-finals.
