Real Madrid chase Barcelona.. Vinicius leads them through Atletico in thrilling derby

Brazilian Vinicius Junior led Real Madrid to a 3–2 victory over Atletico Madrid in the 29th La Liga derby.

Vinicius scored twice for the Merengue in the 52nd and 72nd minutes from the penalty spot, while Federico Valverde scored the second goal in the 55th minute. Ademola Lookman scored Atletico's first goal in the 33rd minute, and Nahuel Molina added the second in the 66th minute.

With this victory, Real Madrid raised its score to 69 points in second place, continuing to put pressure on leaders Barcelona by 4 points, while Atletico Madrid's balance was frozen at 57 points in fourth place.
