Real Madrid begins the search for Arbeloa's successor. Klopp leads the candidates

The loss of Real Madrid's dream of winning the Champions League for the 16th time in its history has sparked widespread reactions within the walls of the Royal Club.

In a move that reflects the management's anger at the European exit, Real Madrid decided to oust its manager Alvaro Arbeloa, following the Champions League quarter-final bye to Bayern Munich.

The exit of the Royal team came after losing the first leg by a score of 6-4, to give the Bavarian giant a ticket to the semi-finals, where the "defending champions" face Paris Saint-Germain.

                                Club President and Urgent Decision

According  to the  international newspaper "The Athletic", the  club's president, Florentino Perez, made an urgent decision after the end of the Bayern Munich match, to end the Arbeloa era by the end of the current season.

As for his successor, former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp is at the top of the list of candidates to take over the technical leadership according to the newspaper's expectations, although there has been no official communication with him so far.

Argentine Mauricio Pochettino is also receiving special interest from Pérez, making him one of the most prominent names on the list.

France's Didier Deschamps is also not absent from the scene, especially with his announcement that he will leave the coaching of the French national team after the upcoming World Cup.

On the other hand, despite the great appreciation that Zinedine Zidane enjoys within the club, his return seems unlikely at the moment, given that he is the frontrunner to succeed Deschamps in coaching the French national team.

 Bayern Munich   qualified for the semi-finals of the Champions League after a  thrilling 4-3 win over Real Madrid in the second leg of the quarter-finals at the Allianz Arena, taking advantage of their 2-1 first-leg advantage to book a 6-4 pass in one of the most exciting games of the season.
