The educational complex in the city of Tabqa in the western countryside of Raqqa continues to maintain and rehabilitate school supplies, including the damaged classrooms, through its technical workshops.
Dr. Khalil Al-Ibrahim, Director of Education in the governorate, said that maintenance and rehabilitation works are being carried out in support of schools and improving the educational environment as the exams approach.
Al-Ibrahim confirmed that the plan includes the maintenance of 1000 school seats, and about 400 seats have been completed so far, with work continuing to complete the rest and distribute them to schools in need, in addition to a plan to rehabilitate more than 2000 additional seats during the next phase.
During a field tour yesterday, Al-Ibrahim inspected the educational complex and schools in the Tabqa region, and was briefed during the tour on the needs of schools for various necessary supplies for the study process.
