Ranking of the World's Most Powerful Passports for 2026 (Infographic)

Singapore tops the list of the world's strongest passports for 2026, with access to 192 visa-free destinations, nearly five times what is available to nationals of lower-ranked countries, while weaker passports only allow access to fewer than 50 destinations.

Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates came in second place with 187 destinations on the list, with the UAE passport being one of the strongest passports outside of East or Southeast Asia, while it lacks visa-free access to the United States, unlike the Singapore passport, Japanese passport, or South Korean passport.
