President Al-Shara Participates in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in Turkey

The official website of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum revealed the participation of President Ahmed Al-Sharaa in the work of the forum scheduled to be held in Turkey between April 17 and 19.
The list of participants included Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Qabwat as part of the Syrian delegation participating in the forum.
Last year, President Al-Sharaa participated for the first time in the work of the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, at the head of a high-level official delegation, and Syria's first participation in the forum, which was held under the slogan "Adopting Diplomacy in a Divided World", with the wide participation of heads of state and government, foreign ministers, and representatives of regional and international organizations.
The fifth edition of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum (ADF2026) is scheduled to be held from April 17 to 19, 2026, under the theme "Shaping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainty", and is an annual international dialogue platform launched in 2021, bringing together leaders, politicians, and intellectuals under the auspices of the Turkish presidency to discuss global issues.
The Antalya Diplomatic Forum will kick off in Antalya, Turkey, with the participation of heads of state, foreign ministers, high-level officials from around the world, as well as experts in international relations and representatives of international and regional organizations.
What is the Antalya Forum?
The forum has been held annually since 2021 under the patronage of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Belek Conference Center in the southern state of Antalya, and is an international platform for political and diplomatic dialogue, aiming to discuss the most prominent regional and international issues and foresee the future of diplomacy in light of the accelerated geopolitical transformations.
The forum brings together policymakers, academics, think tanks, and the private sector under one roof, in an effort to integrate traditional diplomacy with the tools of modern diplomacy, and provide a space for open discussion about global crises and ways to solve them.
The forum will feature panel discussions and workshops on regional security, energy and sea lanes, climate change, migration and refugee issues, as well as the global economy, technology and digital diplomacy.
The Antalya Forum is receiving increasing international attention due to Turkey's geographical location between Europe, Asia and the Middle East, which gives the forum a pivotal role in bringing the views of the opposing parties closer together and facilitating bilateral meetings on the sidelines of its work.
