President Al-Shara meets businessman Hossam Tatari in Damascus

 President Ahmed al-Sharaa met in Damascus with businessman Hossam Tatari, chairman of the Syrian-Turkish Joint Business Council.

During the meeting, they discussed the textile industry and ways to develop it in Syria.

Tatari is one of the most prominent businessmen and industrialists specialized in the textile sector in the city of Aleppo, and he has established a number of major industrial projects in Turkey, especially in the province of Kahramanmaraş, and has contributed to the creation of hundreds of jobs for Syrians and Turks, and has won official recognition for his economic role.

On August 3, 2025, Tatari served as the chairman of the Syrian-Turkish Businessmen Council on the Syrian side, a council that aims to promote industrial and economic integration between the two countries, and develop mechanisms for joint cooperation.
