Perez before  the decisive match: No one gives up at Real Madrid

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez delivered a speech on Sunday morning during the golden badge ceremony, which is organized by the club periodically to honour its most loyal and senior-serving members.

In his speech, which was marked by strong messages, Pérez stressed: "No one here is giving up", stressing the continuity of ambition: "We will continue to fight for everything, year after year."

The president of the Royal Castle added: "We should be proud of Real Madrid. The club that continues to top all the major rankings of important international assessments, and has the greatest reputation."

"We have formed a great family, the unity of Real Madrid is our great strength," Pérez continued, referring to the huge trophy tally by saying: "We have won 58 titles in the last 15 seasons."

He also touched on the development of facilities, saying: "We are completing the greatest transformation at the Bernabéu. It is more comfortable, safer, and equipped in such a way that no match or event is disrupted by any weather conditions."

Perez's comments came as Real Madrid struggled to continue their La Liga title race, as they are 9 points behind rivals Barcelona and prepare for a crucial match at Bayern Munich next Wednesday in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, after losing the first leg (2-1).
