Officially. Real Madrid announce the departure of coach Alvaro Arbeloa

Mourinho and France's Conte arrive at the Santiago Bernabéu within hours
Spanish football club Real Madrid announced on Tuesday (June 9th) that it has reached an agreement with Alvaro Arbeloa to end his duties as coach of the first team.
In an official statement, the club said that it expresses its deep gratitude to Arbeloa, praising the loyalty, commitment and high professionalism he has shown throughout his career within the club, since joining the Academy of the Age Groups, stressing that he has been a living example of Real Madrid's values and principles.
The statement added that Real Madrid, which will always remain Arbeloa's home, wishes him and his family all the best of luck in the next phase of his career and personality.
Arbeloa succeeded Xabi Alonso in Real Madrid's coaching role, after losing the Spanish Super Cup final to Barcelona, but the team did not win any titles, as they finished second in La Liga after Barcelona, and were knocked out of the Champions League against Bayern Munich, and from the Copa del Rey against Albacete.
Mourinho's return to the Santiago Bernabéu began only a matter of time after Florentino Perez was re-elected at the club on Sunday for a new term that runs until 2030.
Perez promised that if he is re-elected, he will bring in the Portuguese coach, in addition to strengthening the team's ranks with new players, the first of which was Frenchman Ibrahima Konate, who decided to join the club as a free agent.
Florentino Pérez to re-elect Real Madrid president until 2030
On Sunday (June 7th), the Real Madrid Electoral Council announced Florentino Pérez as the winner of the election of the President of the Board of Directors of Real Madrid after 100% of the personal and postal votes were counted, where he received 21,741 votes, representing 65%, and his rival Enrique Riquelme received 11,814 votes, representing 35% of the votes.
On May 12, Pérez called for elections despite two years left in his term, after a second consecutive season without a title for Real Madrid.
In his victory speech from a hotel in the Spanish capital, the 79-year-old Perez described the result as "exceptional". He said that Real Madrid "has set an example to the world in transparency and harmony".
"It was a great day for Real Madrid, we won in all age groups, and we achieved the second best result in the history of Real Madrid's elections."
Enrique Riquelme conceded his defeat and congratulated Pérez's campaign on victory, saying in a brief statement: "I would like to congratulate Florentino Pérez's campaign on its victory, there will be no elections in Real Madrid for another 20 years."
Pérez first took over as Real Madrid president in 2000 and has renewed his mandate five times since 2009 by acclamation, and the club has not held an official presidential election since 2006, when Ramón Calderón narrowly won.
