Officially. La Liga announces the date of the Clásico

La Liga has set May 10 at 9 p.m.  (local time in Spain) as the  official date for the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid in the second round of the league.

The  two teams were scheduled to meet on May 9 or 10 at  the Spotify Camp Nou as part of the 35th LaLiga matchday, and this will be the first Clásico to be held at the  Spotify Camp Nou following the reopening of the stadium, where Barcelona hosted Real Madrid at  the  Luis Companis Stadium last season.

Barcelona are top of the La Liga standings with  73 points, while Real Madrid are second with 69 points.

Real Madrid, led by former coach Xabi Alonso, beat Barcelona  2-1 in the first round match between the two teams in LaLiga at the Santiago Bernabéu.
