New Israeli massacre in the Gaza Strip and escalation in  the West Bank

At dawn on Thursday, the Israeli enemy planes committed a new massacre against safe Palestinian families in Gaza City, flouting the ceasefire decision.

Medical and local sources reported that 9 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed and 15 others were injured in various ways, who were transferred to the Shifa Medical Complex, as a result  of a violent airstrike that targeted 4 residential apartments simultaneously in the western and southern neighborhoods of the city.

According to Palestinian sources,  the Israeli rockets destroyed the entire "Lebad" family on Al-Mukhabarat Street northwest of the city, killing  5 of its members, namely the father Hassan Rabah Labad, his wife Manar, and their children (Mohammed, Rahaf, and Tamim), while their daughter "Hala" (9 years old) survived to be the only witness to the massacre, and this coincided with the killing of Palestinians in a raid on the "Al-Ghoul" family in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, and another shelling that targeted the neighborhoods of Tal Al-Hawa and Al-Shati camp.

In this context,  the occupation army continued to spill the blood of civilians, committing a new assassination in the depths of the "safe humanitarian havens" in the area of Mawasi, which is crowded with tents for displaced people, west of Khan Younis, where a drone targeted a motorcycle in the vicinity of the "Hadayed Building", which resulted  in the death  of a Palestinian and the serious injury of 4 citizens, after which they were transferred to Nasser Medical Hospital.

Comprehensive Escalation and Arrests in the West Bank

In the West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jericho and its two camps, and launched a campaign of raids that resulted in the arrest of three citizens: Rami Gharib, Zaid Muhammad Musa Nojoom (Aqbat Jabr camp) and Ayman Abdel Nasser Jamal Hudaib (Ain al-Sultan camp), in addition to detaining a number of released prisoners for several hours and searching their homes to intimidate the residents.

The Palestinian sources stated that the iron gate under the bridge near the Al-Khader International Stadium was closed by the occupation army, which led to the throttling of traffic, the congestion of vehicles, and the deprivation of the citizens of the western countryside of Bethlehem governorate of freedom of movement.

This was accompanied by the demolition of an industrial "lathe" belonging to the Dabsh family in the "Qabr Hilweh" area in the east under the pretext of not having a license, and the seizure of a bulldozer in the town of Al-Khader belonging to the citizen Murad Al-Mahsiri.

An unprecedented environmental and health disaster

In a parallel context,  the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Environmental Quality Authority issued a joint statement on the occasion of World Environment Day, revealing that the carbon emissions resulting from the Israeli aggression on Gaza amounted to a catastrophic figure estimated at 33.2 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, which is equivalent to the emissions of 7.6 million gasoline cars in a full year, as a result of direct military operations, rubble removal and reconstruction.

Medical institutions warned of the explosion of health impact as a result of the war of extermination and the suffocating siege, coinciding with the sharp rise in temperatures;

The Director of Medical Relief in North Gaza, Dr. Mohammed Abu Afsh, confirmed that more than 30% of the visitors to the medical centers suffer from contagious and serious skin diseases and deformities due to the cutting off of potable water, the accumulation of 710 thousand tons of household waste and 60 million tons of rubble, which destroyed 330 thousand housing units, in addition to the collapse of 90% of the sewage infrastructure and the destruction of 86% of agricultural lands.

Plunging Gaza into chaos

These successive developments on the ground intersect with what was revealed by the Haaretz newspaper by the writer Gideon Levy, who confirmed the existence of a strategic plan run by the extreme Zionist right-wing government to plunge the Gaza Strip into a spiral of "creative chaos and comprehensive security chaos", as a realistic alternative that would prevent Hamas from being able to run the Gaza Strip again.

According to the Israeli newspaper, Israel seeks to turn Gaza into an uninhabitable place by spreading organized crime, targeting aid delivery crews, and striking civilian police services, in order to ensure the imposition of direct military control and circumvent international demands for withdrawal, at a time when the "second phase" negotiations have been vacated by Benjamin Netanyahu's insistence on maintaining absolute security control and permanent military pockets deep inside the Gaza Strip.

In turn , the Ministry of Interior in Gaza stressed the awareness of the popular incubator of the occupation's plans aimed at sowing strife, stressing that it will strike with an iron hand against anyone who tries to tamper with the home front.

UN Security Council discusses Palestinian issue

In addition, Bahrain, with the support of Colombia, Denmark, Greece, France, Latvia, Pakistan, Russia and the United Kingdom, called for a closed consultation session at the UN Security Council late tonight to discuss "the situation in the Middle East and the Palestinian issue", based on a letter from the State of Palestine mission related to recent developments, in which the UN Deputy Coordinator for the Peace Process Ramez Akbarov is scheduled to be briefed.
