

Fifteen people, including two medics and a Lebanese soldier, have been killed and 13 others injured since Tuesday night, May 12, as a result of 59 Israeli attacks targeting large areas in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese News Agency.
A raid on Jibshit killed 3 people, including a Lebanese army soldier, and wounded four others, while a house in Deir al-Zahrani killed two people.
It also targeted a motorcycle raid and in Bird Dibba, which led to the death of a Syrian man and the injury of his wife, while an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a pickup truck in Mansouri, resulting in more than 3 injuries.
On Wednesday, the Israeli army warned the evacuation of 6 towns in the district of Tyre in southern Lebanon (Ma'shuk, Yanouh, Bourj al-Shamali, Helusiya al-Fuqa, Daba'al, and Abbasiya), in preparation for carrying out attacks that it claimed targeted Hezbollah positions.
Hezbollah responds to Israel
The Israeli army said on Wednesday that Hezbollah fired several rockets at its invading forces in southern Lebanon, causing sirens to sound in the settlement of Zara'it in the north, in Hassan There was no comment from Hezbollah, but it fires rockets and drones on a daily basis at Israeli forces and vehicles in southern Lebanon and northern Israel in response to violations of the ceasefire extended until May 17.
Earlier, the Israeli army announced that two soldiers were wounded by the explosion of a booby-trapped drone near the border with Lebanon, and the air force intercepted a "suspicious aerial target" in the area where Israeli forces had incurred in southern Lebanon, after a first reserve sergeant was killed a few days ago in a similar attack carried out by Hezbollah.
Ministry of Health: 108 medics killed in 163 attacks on rescue teams
Lebanese Health Minister Rukan Nasser al-Din announced that Israel has killed 108 paramedics and health staff since the start of the aggression on March 2, confirming that 163 direct attacks on ambulance teams and medical staff have been recorded.
The minister added in a statement on Tuesday (May 12th) that 108 ambulances and fire engines were completely destroyed, while 16 hospitals were directly attacked, and 4 hospitals were forced to close.
International Law: Special Protection for Paramedics and Medical Facilities
International humanitarian law, in accordance with the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and Protocol I of 1977, affirms that medical personnel and health facilities enjoy special protection in armed conflicts and may not be targeted under any circumstances.
Even if a medical facility is suspected of being used for military purposes, the law requires clear evidence, advance warning, and a reasonable time before any attack, with all precautions taken to protect civilians.
The Minister of Health explained that the cumulative toll of victims since the expansion of the aggression has reached 2882 dead and8768 wounded, including 380 dead and1122 wounded since the start of the truce on April 17, describing the truce as "fragile and unrealistic".
