Mojtaba Khamenei secretly transferred to Russia for treatment

A senior Iranian source revealed that Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei was transferred to Moscow by a Russian military plane in a top-secret operation, due to his health and security situation after he was injured in the US-Israeli bombing that targeted Iran on February 28.

The source explained to the Kuwaiti "ALJARIDA" that Khamenei underwent surgery immediately upon his arrival that was described as "successful" and is currently receiving treatment in a private hospital inside a Russian presidential palace, under the supervision of Russian and Iranian doctors.

He pointed out that Iran's security services feared that Khamenei Jr.'s whereabouts would be leaked by tracking medical staff, which prompted them to approve Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal to treat him in Russia, a proposal that Iranian officials carefully discussed before it was approved to transfer Mojtaba to Russia last Thursday evening.

On the other hand, Iranian reformist sources have expressed doubts about the first message attributed to Mojtaba, likely to have been drafted by Supreme National Security Council Secretary-General Ali Larijani, especially in the absence of any public appearance or audio recording of the speech.

For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hinted that Tel Aviv  has private information about the whereabouts and condition of Khamenei Jr., saying in a press conference: "I will not provide him with life insurance," which understood that the Israeli occupation is closely following his situation, and according to sources in Jerusalem, the occupation intelligence believes that his injury may be more severe than announced, amid the lack of confirmed information about his exit from Iran.

"ALJARIDA" had earlier reported that Mojtaba was injured in his left side from head to toe, after the rubble fell near him during the raid on the compound that houses the new Supreme Leader's house and office in Tehran.
