Mohamed Salah bids farewell to Liverpool. Tottenham survive relegation in the last round

Liverpool bid farewell to their star Mohamed Salah with a 1-1 draw against Brentford, after a  9-season  run during which he led the team to major titles, most notably the Champions League and the English League.

Salah scored his team's only goal with a stunning pass to Curtis Jones in the  58th minute, taking his tally to 120 assists for Liverpool in all competitions, including 93 in the Premier League, becoming the club's most goalscoring player in league history, surpassing Steven Gerrard.

In the 74th minute, Liverpool fans stood up to greet their historic star, who left the stadium amid warm applause and farewell cheers, in a scene that sums up the magnitude of his impact on the club and its fans.

With this draw, Liverpool finished the season in fifth place with 60 points, to ensure a return to the Champions League.

Tottenham survive relegation after battle of nerves

Tottenham Hotspur beat Everton with a goal without reply, scored by Portugal's Joao Balenha in the 42nd minute, to ensure the team stays in the Premier League after a very difficult season.

Tottenham increased their tally to 41 points in 17th place, just two points behind West Ham, who finished in 18th place.

Despite the immense pressure the team has experienced throughout the season, Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi's side fought until the last minute to avoid their first relegation in 49 years.

West Ham go down despite win over Leeds United

West Ham were relegated to the Championship despite beating Leeds United with a clean sheet, where they sit in 18th place with 39 points.

Valentin Castellanos, Jarrod Bowen and Callum Wilson scored, but the team paid the price for their fluctuating results all season, catching up with relegated Wolverhampton and Burnley.
