Minister of Social Affairs discusses cooperation in the field of humanitarian support with the representative of the United Nations Population Fund

During her meeting today in Damascus with the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Syria, Inshirah Ahmed, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Kabwat discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of humanitarian support and social services.

The meeting discussed programs aimed at supporting families and the most needy groups, in addition to discussing mechanisms for developing joint programs and expanding the scope of services provided in a way that contributes to strengthening the social protection system.

The two sides also discussed ways to respond to the growing societal needs by intensifying joint efforts and coordinating initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and improving the level of social services provided to citizens.
