

Artist Mayada Al-Hinnawi is preparing to perform a concert as part of the activities of the "Mawazine... Rhythms of the World" will be performed on June 19 at the Mohammed V National Theatre in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, in an evening that is expected to carry an authentic musical character.
The festival's official page announced the concert through a promotional poster, and described Al-Hinnawi as "the legend of Arabic song", stressing that the audience will be on a date with an exceptional night during which she will recapture her most prominent works that have established her place in the history of Arabic song.
During the concert, "Singer of Generations" is expected to present a group of her most famous songs, which are associated with the memory of the audience, in an atmosphere of nostalgia and originality, as part of one of the most prominent evenings of the festival.
A strong return to the festival
The organizers of the "Mawazine... Rhythms of the World" is scheduled to take place between 19 and 27 March 2026, in an expected return to one of the largest artistic events in Morocco, which has attracted the most prominent international, Arab and Moroccan names since its inception, and attracted millions of audiences to the stands of Rabat and Salé.
The organizer of the festival revealed the first names to participate, as French rap star Niño will perform the opening ceremony on the Souissi stand on June 19 , 2026, in a trend that reflects the organizers' continued bet on attracting international names with a wide audience, especially among the youth.
On the official social media page of the Mawazine Festival, it was also announced that Egyptian folk artist Hassan Shakoush, who will perform on the Al-Nahda platform, will participate in a program that seeks to diversify musical tastes.
In this edition, Mawazine is betting on restoring the festival's glamour as a prominent annual event, combining international and Arab music, and attracting large audiences from inside and outside Morocco, through multiple platforms distributed between the cities of Rabat and Salé.
