Manchester City wins FA Cup  at the expense of Chelsea

Manchester City won the FA Cup for the eighth time in its history, after beating Chelsea (1-0) in the final of the prestigious tournament, on Saturday, at Wembley Stadium in London.

Ghanaian winger Antoine Semenyo scored the only goal of the match in the 72nd minute of the match, in a superb manner, as he turned his teammate Erling Haaland's cross into the Blues' net with a touch of his heel.

Chelsea managed to limit City's attack during the first half, which was almost devoid of dangerous chances, as the Blues defended well, while Pep Guardiola's side lacked precision in the final touch.

However, as the second half wore on, Manchester City began to threaten the London team's goal more dangerously, especially after Ryan Sharqi came on in place of Omar Marmoush and Mateo Kovacic in place of Rodri.

From a quick counter-attack, City managed to take advantage of Chelsea's lack of positioning of the players properly, and Haaland passed a cross to Semenho, who scored the championship goal.

After City's advance, Chelsea did not succeed in creating the necessary danger for the equalizer, but the Sky team remained the most proactive and tried on the opponent's goal, before the referee blew the final whistle announcing Manchester City's crowning of its second title, this season, after winning the League Cup at the expense of Arsenal (2-0).

Celtic defeat Hearts to win the Scottish League title

Celtic won the Scottish Premier League title after beating Hearts 3-1 in the final round on Saturday in a decisive match that saw great excitement until the final minutes.

The decisive moment came late after Daizen Maeda and Callum Osman scored twice in the final minutes, leading their team to a valuable victory that sparked great celebrations among the players and the fans.

Celtic faced stiff competition throughout the season, falling behind Hearts for long periods of time, before turning the tide and winning the title for the 14th time in the last 15 seasons.

Hearts, on the other hand, came into the game needing just one point to win the title for the first time in 60 years, but failed to maintain their lead, squandering their dream in the decisive moments of the season.
