Liverpool announces the date of Mohamed Salah's return to participate with the team

Liverpool have revealed the date of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah's return to the team this season, confirming that he is expected to return again this season after tests proved only a minor injury to his left hamstring.
"Liverpool Football Club confirms that Mohamed Salah is expected to be available to play again before the end of this season," the English club said in a statement.
"The number 11 was substituted during the second half of last Saturday's Premier League win over Crystal Palace at Anfield.
"It has now been confirmed that the problem that caused his withdrawal is a minor muscle injury, however, Salah is expected to return to play before the end of the 2025/2026 season and his departure from Liverpool this summer."
The 33-year-old Egypt international fell to the ground holding his leg during Liverpool's 3-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday and was substituted just an hour before the game. Salah was keen to greet the Anfield fans as he left the stadium and appeared very moved.
Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's all-time top scorer, announced last month that he had reached an agreement with Liverpool to end his nine-year spell at Merseyside, and the final day's game against Brentford at Anfield seems to be the perfect occasion to end his career at the club.
This news is a major morale boost for the Egyptian national team before the start of its campaign in the 2026 World Cup, as it feared a repeat of the same scenario that happened before the team qualified for the tournament for the last time in 2018, after being injured before that, where it did not participate at full capacity.
