"Let us be a bridge to healing." Field Medical Initiative on Arwad Island

The Tartous Health Directorate implemented a comprehensive field medical initiative on Arwad Island under the slogan "Let's be a bridge to healing".

The Directorate of Health in Tartous stated on its social media platforms that the specialized medical team provided about 303 health services that benefited 130 patients, including medical examinations and the dispensing of free medicines for chronic diseases, in addition to reproductive health services and nutritional surveillance for children, as well as the distribution of nutritional supplements.

The initiative also included home visits for the elderly and disabled patients to provide health check-ups and guidance, as well as awareness sessions on proper nutrition and disease prevention.

The event concluded with a sports marathon that roamed the streets of the island with wide community participation to promote the role of physical activity in public health.
