Led by Messi.. Argentina's list to play  in the 2026 World Cup final announced

Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni has officially announced the final list of the "Tango" battalion that will compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The sporting community is looking forward to this historic edition, which will be held for the first time with the participation of 48 teams jointly organized by the United States of America, Canada and Mexico, as the defending champions seek to maintain their World Cup pride under the leadership of their legendary mentor Lionel Messi.

Attack with pure Madrid flavor

Scaloni's attacking options have imposed a clear Spanish character, especially from the stronghold of Spanish club Atletico Madrid, which has become the main feeder of the front line, as the battalion saw the recall of the Rojiblancos quintet (Nahuel Molina, Thiago Almada, Nicolas González, Julian Alvarez and Giuliano Simeone), reflecting the coaching staff's bet on the high state of harmony between these stars in LaLiga to take them to the World Cup stadiums.

Arab matches in Group X

The draw of the tournament placed the Argentine national team at the top of the balanced tenth group, which carries an attractive character for Arab football fans, as Messi's comrades will begin their journey in the first round against Algeria and Jordan, in addition to the Austrian national team, amid unprecedented public and media preparations to follow the matches of this group.

Argentina enters this edition as the defending champions of the last edition (Qatar 2022), where this current generation combines the experience of veteran stars with the vitality of emerging young talent in European and Latin stadiums, in an effort to consolidate absolute dominance on the global football throne and win the fourth World Cup star in the country's history.
