Israeli massacre in Deir al-Balah kills 4 Palestinians

On Wednesday, July 15, the occupied Palestinian territories witnessed a dangerous escalation on the ground, represented by the continuation of Israel's bloody violations of the "ceasefire agreement" in the Gaza Strip, coinciding with a campaign of large-scale raids and unprecedented settlement confiscations in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, at a time when Hebrew media revealed a suffocating military readiness crisis and a severe erosion of the armored corps and reserve system of the occupation army.

Four Palestinians, including three from the same family, were killed and others were wounded in an airstrike carried out by Israeli helicopters that targeted a residential apartment belonging to the "Abu Qasim" family in the vicinity of Al-Baraka roundabout, west of the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Palestinian medical and local sources reported that among the dead was a 6-year-old girl.

Statistics of the Aggression and the Continuation of the Ceasefire Violation

The occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement signed on October 10 in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh under international and Arab auspices.

According to the latest official data issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll since the lull took effect has risen to 1110 martyrs, 9978 injured, and about 800 bodies have been recovered.

While the total and cumulative toll of the war of extermination and military aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,233 martyrs, in addition to 173,707 wounded.

Israel approves new settlement south of Jenin

In the occupied West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces closed all the main and secondary entrances to the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, at dawn on Wednesday, with earthen berms and military bulldozers to completely isolate it from its external surroundings.

In Jerusalem, the occupation forces stormed Qalandia camp and turned the People's Committee building into an interrogation center and detained dozens of citizens inside, in conjunction with heavy shooting and tear gas. In Hebron, three citizens were injured with fractures and bruises as a result of an attack launched by settlers armed with the protection of the occupation army on the homes of citizens in the town of Yatta.

In a related context, the Israeli Cabinet for Political and Security Affairs approved on Wednesday the establishment of a new settlement near the evacuated settlement of "Sanur" south of Jenin.

The decision came at the request and direct coordination of extremist Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Army Minister Yisrael Katz, who allocated 1.3 billion shekels (about $434 million) to finance this new settlement plan to strengthen ground control of the northern West Bank.

Israeli Confessions: The Armored Crisis and the Digital Hoax

On the internal military level of the occupation, the Israeli army radio revealed an unprecedented crisis of readiness and logistical and human deficit that is ravaging the armored corps and reserve forces. The Israeli impasse, according to Hebrew reports, is summarized in the following points:

Shortage of tanks and spare parts: Huge numbers of armored vehicles and tanks are out of service as a result of their direct destruction in the battles in Gaza and southern Lebanon, and the crisis is compounded by the refusal of European countries, most notably Germany, to provide the entity with new tank engines and spare parts.

The digital trick: The army leadership has deliberately reduced the number of soldiers called up to reserve companies to match the scarce number of tanks left in operation, in order to show "illusoryly high" enrollment rates to public opinion and decision-makers.

Morale collapse and attrition: The army is facing a severe shortage of manpower and thousands of soldiers have refused to return to service due to exhaustion and psychological and physical exhaustion, which refutes the claims of the occupation leaders about the ability to continue fighting on all fronts.
