On Thursday, May 7, 2026, a Palestinian youth was wounded by Israeli army gunfire in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem, while Israeli forces arrested 19 Palestinians during a series of raids carried out in various areas of the West Bank.
The Jerusalem governorate said that the young man was wounded in the thigh near the apartheid wall, and his condition was described as stable, and in Qalqilya, Israeli forces arrested 14 Palestinians from the towns of Azzun and Habla after raiding houses that lasted about three hours, and arrested two brothers after storming their sister's house in Habla, according to the Palestinian News Agency.

Local sources said that the Israeli forces closed the entrances to the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, with earthen berms, which led to its isolation from its surroundings, referring to a young man from the village of Wad Rahal in Bethlehem after storming his family's house, while the forces stormed the city of Tubas and the town of Tammoun without registering arrests.
Gaza. 9 Palestinians killed, death toll rises to 72,628
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that 9 Palestinians were killed in 24 hours, including three from previous injuries, bringing the total number of victims of the Israeli genocide since October 2023 to 72,628 dead and 172,520 injured. The ministry explained that 39 people were injured during the past hours, in light of the continuation of daily Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement announced on October 10, 2025.
The circumstances of the casualties were not clarified, while these data come as Israel continues to violate the daily ceasefire agreement since October 10, 2025, through shelling and shooting, which leads to the death and injury of civilians.
The ministry said that the death toll from these violations since the beginning of the agreement amounted to 846 martyrs and 2,418 injured, in addition to the recovery of 769 bodies from under the rubble and in the streets.
These figures come in the context of a devastating war that began in October 2023, which has left widespread destruction of 90 percent of civilian infrastructure, while the United Nations has estimated the cost of reconstruction at about $70 billion.
Gaza Health: 47% of hospital medicines run out
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned on Thursday of the worsening of the pharmaceutical and laboratory crisis in hospitals, announcing that 47 percent of essential medicines and 59 percent of medical consumables have run out.
This comes after two years of genocide that Israel began on January 8 , 2023, with American support, and later continued in various forms, leaving more than 72,000 dead and more than 172,000 Palestinians injured, and massive destruction that affected 90% of civilian infrastructure.
The ministry said in a statement that 87% of laboratory testing materials have become "zero", which threatens the ability of laboratories to conduct basic tests for patients.
Gaza's health sector is suffering from a widespread collapse due to the repercussions of Israel's war of annihilation, which has left significant destruction in hospitals and health infrastructure, in addition to severe shortages of medicines, fuel and medical supplies.
The ministry added that cancer treatment, hematology, primary care, dialysis and mental health services are among the health sectors most affected by the shortage of medicines and medical supplies, explaining that medical consumables needed for eye surgeries, cardiac catheterization and dialysis are witnessing a severe shortage, with the list of items that have been completely out of stocks expanding.
The ministry warned that the shortage of laboratory testing materials for comprehensive blood analysis (CBC), blood gas tests and clinical chemistry threatens the continuity of diagnostic services in hospitals and health centers.
The Ministry stressed that the continuation of "zero indicators" for medicines and medical consumables undermines the efforts of medical staff, increases the suffering of patients, and exacerbates health complications.
It called on all international institutions and stakeholders to intensify urgent interventions to enhance medical supplies and ensure their access to health facilities in the Gaza Strip.
