Israel kills 4 Palestinians and expands its occupation areas east of Khan Yunis
On Sunday, the Israeli army killed 4 Palestinians and wounded them in two raids in the central and southern Gaza Strip, while expanding its occupation area east of the city of Khan Younis by moving the so-called "Yellow Line" to the west.
Medical sources reported that 3 Palestinians were killed by Israeli shelling on the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, and eyewitnesses said that an Israeli drone launched a raid on a food distribution hotspot near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Earlier, medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis reported that "the body of the martyr Ahmed Abu Mustafa and four others injured as a result of shelling from an Israeli drone targeting a gathering of Palestinians in the center of Khan Younis" had arrived.
According to eyewitnesses, an Israeli drone carried out at least one raid on a gathering of Palestinians in the Rafah Garage area in the center of the city, killing a Palestinian and injuring others.
At dawn on Sunday, local sources and eyewitnesses said that Israeli vehicles infiltrated the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, amid gunfire and artillery shelling.
The sources added that the Israeli vehicles pushed the concrete blocks identified for the so-called "Yellow Line" towards the west for tens of meters in the areas of "Al-Raqeb" and "Harat al-Fajm", which means the expansion of the areas controlled by the Israeli army.
Eyewitnesses said that an Israeli military bulldozer carried out demolition of a number of houses in the area, and according to witnesses, the two areas witnessed the displacement of a number of families towards the center and west of Khan Younis.
Netanyahu admits to violating the Yellow Line in Gaza
The "Yellow Line" is a field separation line defined by the ceasefire understandings signed in October 2025, referred to as yellow concrete blocks, separating the areas from which the Israeli army withdrew and located in the west of the Gaza Strip, and those still occupied in the east.
The shelling operations and the expansion of the so-called "yellow line" areas are part of Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, as the agreement in its first phase set the area of this area at about 53 percent of the Gaza Strip.
On Thursday evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged that the agreement had been violated, and that the area occupied by the Gaza Strip had been expanded to 60% through similar operations in which the army pushed the so-called "yellow line" into the western areas of the Strip.
The second phase involves a broader withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip and reconstruction, in exchange for the start of the disarmament of the factions, which Israel has also not implemented and exceeded by insisting on disarmament first.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) issues "secret" arrest warrants against 5 Israeli officials
Haaretz reported on Sunday that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued secret arrest warrants for a number of Israeli officials, in a new development related to investigations related to the genocidal war on Gaza and settlement files.
The newspaper quoted a diplomatic source as saying that the court has issued arrest warrants against five Israeli officials, including political figures and two military officials, noting that the date of these warrants is still unknown.
According to the source, this step comes in addition to the arrest warrants issued by the court in November 2024 against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of War Yoav Gallant.
This comes in light of previous reports that prosecutors are considering prosecuting both Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir over policies related to the war and settlements.
Earlier, Israeli media reports revealed that the International Criminal Court (ICC) continues its investigations against Israeli officials in files related to settlements and the war in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli media reported that the issuance of arrest warrants means that member states of the court will be required to arrest the Israeli officials covered by the warrants, although their names have not yet been officially announced.
