The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed that it is directly following up on the file of financial dues of doctors and residents at Aleppo University Hospital, and that work is underway to address this issue without any delay.

 

The Assistant Minister of Higher Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Abeer Qudsi, explained in a statement to SANA that the ministry, based on the minister's directives, communicated with the hospital administration and the presidency of the University of Aleppo to ensure the payment of all outstanding dues in accordance with the laws and regulations in force, and to work to end this file comprehensively and quickly.

 

Qudsi stressed that the Ministry considers this issue an urgent priority to support medical cadres and ensure a stable work environment in teaching hospitals, in order to ensure the continuation of the provision of health and educational services at the required level.

 

Aleppo University Hospital is one of the most important medical and educational centers in the region, as it provides extensive therapeutic and diagnostic services, receives large numbers of patients from Aleppo and neighboring governorates, in addition to its primary role in training medical students and resident physicians within clinical education programs.
