Hezbollah accuses Aoun of incompetence.. and Israel kills 13 Lebanese in 24 hours

The Lebanese "Hezbollah" said that its continued attack on the occupation army is a legitimate response to its continued violations of the ceasefire in force in the country.

"It is clear and decisive that the enemy's continued violation of the ceasefire, its attacks such as shelling, bulldozing, destroying houses or targeting civilians, and above all, its continued occupation of Lebanese territory and its violations of its sovereignty, will be met with a response," a statement from the party said.

He added that "its continued targeting of Israeli army gatherings in the occupied Lebanese territories and the bombing of its settlements comes as a legitimate response to its continued violations of the ceasefire," which amounted to "500 land, sea and air violations" since April 17.

He also pointed out that the extension of the truce for additional weeks was supposed to lead to "a real ceasefire, in which the enemy stops its violations, especially the blowing up and destruction of houses in the south, but instead it has escalated its aggression and aggression."

The party considered this escalation "by the enemy as a confirmation of its criminal nature, its treachery, and its disregard for all international laws and conventions."

Regarding Lebanon's official position, the party said that "the PA stands silent and is unable to carry out its most basic national duties towards its land and people," calling on it to "make a clear explanation to its people about the agreement that the enemy is invoking with it that gives it the freedom to attack, destroy and kill," according to the statement.

The party warned of the danger of Netanyahu's statements, in which he claimed to work freely in Lebanon in accordance with the agreement with the United States, considering it "an attempt to implicate the Lebanese authority in a bilateral agreement that took place only between him and Washington, and Lebanon had no opinion or position on it (referring to the two rounds of talks in Washington)."

Deputy Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament: No Peace Without the South

Lebanese MP Ali Hassan Khalil urged an end to Israel's "systematic killings" and destruction in southern Lebanon.

Khalil, who is the political assistant to Lebanese parliament speaker Nabih Berri, said that what is needed is "not just to declare a ceasefire", but to translate this on the ground by stopping the aggression and withdrawing from the southern villages.

In statements carried by Lebanese media, he warned of the repercussions of renewed displacement, considering that the waves of displacement "will weigh on the overall internal situation in Lebanon", in light of the worsening economic and social pressures.

"Lebanon is used to pressure and has never given up," he said, setting the priorities of the stage as a ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages, the return of displaced people, the launch of the reconstruction process, and the release of prisoners.

He stressed the importance of "the unity of the Lebanese internal position" and the fortification of the national discourse, while adhering to civil peace, considering that these elements constitute a key pillar to overcome the current stage.

Khalil pointed out that Lebanon is "not interested in direct negotiations", pointing out that Hizbullah has confirmed its commitment to the truce agreement and has not taken the initiative to violate it, but announced that it will respond to Israeli violations "so that freedom of movement is not dedicated to the enemy".

Khalil concluded by stressing that "there is no peace in Lebanon without the south", calling for the restoration of life to the villages that are being subjected to "destruction beyond all norms", stressing that "there will be no yellow or red line, and the whole south is the whole south until the last border point", referring to the adherence to the restoration of all the territory.

Israeli killed in Hezbollah operations

On the ground, Hezbollah said today that it attacked Israeli forces inside Lebanon and that rescue forces came to evacuate them, and the Israeli army confirmed that a soldier was killed and 6 others, including an officer and 3 soldiers, were wounded during battles in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli military said on Sunday that it had intercepted three drones before they crossed into Israel after sirens sounded warning of an air attack in the north.

Lebanon counted 13 people killed and 30 others injured in the past 24 hours, raising the total number of victims of the Israeli aggression to 2,509 dead and 7,755 wounded since March 2, according to a report issued by the Disaster Risk Management Unit of the Lebanese Cabinet.

The latest statistics released by the Lebanese Ministry of Health earlier this month show that among the dead were 274 women, 177 children and 100 paramedics.

At the same time, Lebanon has witnessed an intensive displacement since last March, which included more than 1.6 million displaced people, or a fifth of the country's population, according to the latest official data.

Israel says Hezbollah attacks have killed two of its own civilians, while 15 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Lebanon since March 2.
