Gaza and the West Bank are on fire: 6 killed in Israeli attacks and escalation of incursions

Six Palestinians, including a woman, have been killed and four others have been injured since dawn on Tuesday as a result of sporadic Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, as part of daily violations of the ceasefire agreement in force since October 10, 2025, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses.
The sources said that the Israeli army carried out its attacks through airstrikes and shooting in several areas of the Gaza Strip. In southern Gaza, four Palestinians were killed in a drone strike targeting a gathering of citizens in the Al-Amal neighborhood in the center of Khan Younis, while a fifth was killed in a similar strike near the Al-Bareed area in the Sheikh Nasser neighborhood east of the city. Israeli artillery also shelled the eastern areas of Khan Younis without any casualties.
In the northern Gaza Strip, a 30-year-old woman was killed and others were injured after the Israeli navy fired on the tents of displaced people in the area of Al-Sultan, west of Beit Lahiya, and three Palestinians, including a six-year-old child, were wounded by army gunfire in the same town. Medical sources announced that a child died of his injuries a few days ago in the vicinity of the Al-Fakhoura clinic, west of Jabalya.
In the central Gaza Strip, a woman was wounded by a Quad Helicopter drone that fired indiscriminately at the homes and tents of displaced people in al-Bureij camp.
The Israeli army said in a statement that it had targeted "armed terrorists" affiliated with the Islamic Jihad movement in the southern Gaza Strip, claiming that they posed a "threat to the forces deployed in the area."
According to the government media office in Gaza, the Israeli army has committed about 2,400 violations of the truce since it came into effect, resulting in the death of 777 Palestinians and the wounding of 2,193 others as of Monday. The agreement came after a two-year war since October 2023, which left more than 72,000 dead and 172,000 wounded, in addition to extensive destruction of infrastructure.

In the West Bank, a 36-year-old Palestinian man was injured on Tuesday evening when Israeli soldiers attacked him during a raid on the village of Iraq Burin, south of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, which took him to the hospital.
The city of Tulkarem and its surroundings witnessed extensive incursions, as Israeli forces entered the suburb of Shweika in the north of the city with a number of vehicles, and roamed the main streets amid a heavy deployment. Local sources reported that the soldiers blocked the main street, prevented the movement of citizens, and forced shopkeepers to close their shops.
Forces also deployed in the old garage yard and fired stun grenades and smoke bombs, while soldiers raided commercial buildings and climbed on their roofs to turn them into observation posts. In Tulkarm camp, soldiers fired live bullets heavily under a tight siege on the camp. Forces also stormed the town of Anabta in the east of the city and threw leaflets threatening to residents.
Since October 2023, the West Bank has been witnessing an escalation in settler attacks and army incursions, and according to the Commission for Resistance to the Wall and Settlements, settlers carried out 497 attacks during last March, which resulted in the death of nine Palestinians, while official data indicates that 1,154 Palestinians were killed, about 11,750 were injured, and about 22,000 were arrested since that date.
Nablus .. settlers burn Palestinian property
In the Nablus governorate, Israeli settlers burned a house and two vehicles in the village of Beit Umrein in the north of the governorate on Tuesday evening, after storming the outskirts of the village from a nearby outpost, according to local sources.
Settlers also cut down more than 150 olive trees in the areas of Al-Khan and Wadi Ali, southeast of the village of Al-Laban Al-Sharqiyah. During the past three days, the governorate witnessed a significant escalation, including the bulldozing of 34 dunums of agricultural lands and the uprooting of more than 500 fruit trees.
These attacks come as part of an escalating wave targeting land and agricultural properties in the West Bank, amid Palestinian warnings of attempts to impose a new reality on the ground.
