From an island that went out. Iranian official waves strong message

In a remarkably escalatory tone, the head of the National Security Committee in the Iranian parliament, Ebrahim Azizi, sent a direct message to neighboring countries and foreign powers, stressing that the security of the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf will only be achieved with the complete departure of foreigners.
Azizi's remarks came on Saturday during a visit by a delegation from the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee to Kharg Island, which he described as "the front line of Iran's oil industry" and "a symbol of power and steadfastness."
The presence of foreign powers in the region is "the main obstacle to the stability of waterways," Azizi told IRNA, adding that only Iran — along with the countries of the region — can protect the Gulf without any external interference.
The Iranian official also directly criticized the United States and Israel, saying they "fancied that threat and intimidation are capable of disrupting Iran's oil industry," before asserting that the oil sector "is more willing than ever to store, load and sell."
These statements come at a sensitive time when the region is witnessing escalating tensions, making the Iranian message from Kharg Island a clear warning that Tehran will not accept the continuation of a foreign military presence in the Gulf.
