FlySham resumes flights from Aleppo Airport to Sharjah, Mersin and Istanbul

The airline "FlySham" has resumed its flights from Aleppo International Airport to Sharjah-Mersin-Istanbul "Sabiha Airport", in order to meet the requirements of its passengers in light of the current stage and the conditions that the region is going through.
In a statement, the company announced the start date of the start of specific flights, starting from Aleppo International Airport, starting from the 12th of this month, to Sharjah, Mersin, and Istanbul, which was announced to be added as a new destination on the company's map of destinations, starting from March 13.
The company stressed its keenness to facilitate the movement of its passengers, alleviate their suffering and find safe solutions for them, as the company has provided the possibility of free transportation from Damascus to Aleppo, and vice versa to facilitate their travel through Aleppo International Airport, indicating that it will reschedule its direct flights from Damascus International Airport once the skies reopen, and the reasons for their suspension are over.
The airline explained that the flights that have been opened currently from Aleppo Airport to Sharjah Airport are not a direct extension of the previously scheduled flights, but are exceptional, limited flights imposed by emergency and completely different circumstances in terms of air routes, flight time, and operating requirements.
This has resulted in a significant increase in operational costs, as a result of the adoption of longer and safer routes away from tension zones, increased fuel consumption in conjunction with higher oil prices, higher insurance costs, the need for additional arrangements for the stationing of crews in both destinations, in addition to the temporary relocation of the company's operations to the city of Aleppo, as well as the reduction in available seat capacity on all current Aleppo-Sharjah flights due to operating and fuel requirements.
The company confirmed that its pricing is always linked to the operational data of each line, which is also reflected in the flights that were opened from Aleppo to Mersin and Istanbul at thoughtful and competitive prices, due to the different operating conditions of their operation from the exceptional flights to Sharjah.
In light of the exceptional circumstances that the region is going through, and the resulting closure of airspace and air corridors in a number of countries, air traffic has been significantly affected, which has led to the cancellation of all scheduled fly sham flights.
