Export Authority: June 30 is the deadline for registration in the National Export Register

The Commission for the Support and Development of Local Production and Exports of the Syrian Ministry of Economy and Industry has set a deadline of June 30 for registration in the National Export Register, in order to ensure the continuation of exporters' activity.

In a post on its Telegram channel, on Saturday, the Authority explained that the registration process requires filling in all the required data electronically, and uploading electronic copies of the documents that include, recent certified copies of the commercial and industrial registrations of the producer exporter, a membership document in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry according to specialization, and a copy of the owner's personal ID.

The Authority indicated that the registration fee is 50 thousand Syrian pounds in the new currency, provided that the fees are paid through the electronic payment system on the Authority's account in "Sham Cash", with the payment notice attached to the attached documents.

The National Export Register, which was launched by the Local Production and Export Development Support and Development Authority on the first of April, is an official digital platform and database that documents and organizes the data of exporters, companies, and products eligible for export, with the aim of facilitating customs procedures, providing financial and logistical support, quality control, and ensuring the conformity of goods with international standards.
