
Deir Ezzor: Rehabilitation of the sewage network in Al-Jubaila neighborhood begins

In the city of Deir Ezzor, the rehabilitation of the sewage network in the Jubaila neighborhood has begun.
The Director General of the Public Authority for Water and Sanitation in the province, Eng. Ahmed Al-Moussa, told Syria News that the Corporation launched this project as part of its plans to improve the work of the drainage network in the city of Deir Ezzor and address the bottlenecks it suffers from, which cause a lot of problems for the residents. This is in order to operate the sewage network optimally and alleviate the suffering of the people returning to their homes in the affected neighborhoods.
He stressed that the project includes the replacement of the line extending from Al-Ikhlas Mosque to Al-Baajin School, in addition to the sewage pipes coming out of the buildings to the main sewer, with the implementation of all concrete works. The project also includes several important and vital areas, such as the main line on Hassan Al-Atrah School Street in Al-Qusour neighborhood, in addition to the completion of rehabilitation works on several side streets on the line opposite Faisal School in Jubaila neighborhood.
It is noteworthy that the project is being implemented by the Public Water and Sanitation Corporation with the support of Oxfam, and in coordination with the Deir Ezzor City Council.
