
The General Authority for Ports and Customs has issued a notice to passengers, traders and cargo transport companies transiting between Turkey and Syria, noting the closure of all border crossings between the two countries from the Turkish side, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
The Authority noted that the closure will be as of Thursday 19/3/2026 at 5:30 pm and will continue throughout the days of Eid Al-Fitr (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), provided that the transit of passengers and goods will return to normal as of the morning of Monday 23/3/2026.
