The General Authority for Ports and Customs announced that the "Hammam crossing" border with Turkey will be closed permanently starting from the end of the official working day on Tuesday, 17/3/2026.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the authority asked traders and travelers to adopt the Bab al-Hawa or Al-Salama border crossing to complete travel procedures and transport goods.
