Casualties escalate in the ranks of the Israeli occupation army in southern Lebanon

The Israeli occupation army acknowledged that the number of injuries among its forces has risen to309 officers and soldiers since the beginning of the ground incursion into southern Lebanon, noting that 23 of the wounded are still in a serious condition as a result of the continuous confrontations with Hezbollah fighters.
The Israeli army said in a statement that 48 officers and soldiers were injured in the past 24 hours alone, in one of the deadliest periods for the Israeli forces since the beginning of their incursion into southern Lebanon.
These developments come in light of the expansion of the area of confrontations on the northern front, where the Israeli occupation army continues to carry out ground and air attacks targeting sites in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah announces the implementation of repeated attacks against Israeli military gatherings and vehicles.
Observers believe that the rapid rise in the number of casualties reflects the complexity of the ground battle in the rugged border areas, in addition to the intensity of the clashes that the front has been witnessing for weeks.
