
Brigadier General Ziad Al-Ayesh: Tomorrow, the first batches of returnees from Al-Hasakah will start to their areas of origin

The presidential envoy to follow up on the implementation of the terms of the January 29 agreement with the SDF, Brigadier General Ziad Al-Ayesh, announces that tomorrow, Monday, will witness the launch of the first batches of returnees from Al-Hasakah province to their areas of origin, as part of an organized plan supervised by the Syrian state.
Brigadier General Al-Ayesh added in a statement to the Syrian News Agency that the Syrian state has completed all technical and logistical arrangements to transport the people and ensure their safe return.
He indicated that the director of the Ain al-Arab region will head to the Al-Shuyoukh district in the countryside of Aleppo to prepare for the return of its displaced people.
Brigadier General Al-Ayesh pointed out that the Syrian state is committed to returning all displaced people from all components to their villages and homes in an organized and safe manner to ensure their dignified return and promote stability and coexistence among all the citizens of the country.
He pointed to the coordination meeting he held with the governor of Aleppo, the commander of internal security and the directors of the Afrin and Ain al-Arab regions to follow up on the file of the return of displaced people.
Brigadier General Al-Ayesh confirmed that the presidential delegation will head from Aleppo on Sunday, accompanied by the director of the Afrin region and a number of Kurdish dignitaries, to the city of Al-Hasakah, and will meet with the governor Noureddine Ahmed and the people of Afrin in preparation for their return to their homes.
A delegation from the presidential team, consisting of Dr. Mustafa Abdi and Mr. Ahmed Al-Hilali, discussed last Friday with the governor of Al-Hasakah, Eng. Noureddine Ahmed, the mechanisms for the return of displaced people to their cities and villages in Al-Hasakah and Afrin.
It is noteworthy that the concerned authorities in the Syrian government secured the safe return of 3 batches of the people of the Afrin region to their homes, coming from the areas of Al-Hasakah province, as part of the government's ongoing efforts to support the return of the people to their original areas with dignity and peace, and to secure their lives and stability, under the coordination and supervision of Aleppo Governorate and the Afrin Region Administration, and in cooperation with the Internal Security and the Political Affairs Department in Al-Hasakah Governorate, the first batch included 100 families, the second 14 families, and the third 16 families.
