Arrest of one of those involved in an armed clash in Aleppo that resulted in the death of one person and the wounding of two

Internal Security Forces in Aleppo city arrested one of those involved in an armed clash that broke out between two families in the Sukkari neighborhood and caused the death of one person and the wounding of two others, in a new incident that resheds light on the dangers of the spread of indiscriminate weapons within residential neighborhoods.

According to local sources, previous disputes between the two families developed last night into an exchange of fire using automatic weapons in the middle of the neighborhood, causing three injuries, one of whom later died of his wounds.

Immediately after the incident, the Internal Security Forces cordoned off the area and began extensive combing operations, during which they were able to arrest one of the participants in the clash, while the security services continue their investigations to identify and pursue the rest of those involved.

The city of Aleppo faces ongoing security challenges related to the proliferation of weapons in some areas, which requires  intensifying efforts to control illegal weapons and prevent the recurrence of such incidents that threaten the lives of civilians and the stability of society.
